GRLDR is a pseudonym / abbreviation for the GRUB loader for Windows (also known as GRUB4DOS or GRUB for DOS), which is often used to configure a dual-boot PC on Windows and one or more Linux (or other * nix-based) operating systems.
This error can occur either immediately after installing the Linux distribution, or at some point in the future, when Automatic Update or Windows Update fix the boot loader files or the boot sector itself, disrupting the configuration based on GRLDR.
Probable sources of the problem:
- Your Windows image (on USB or DVD) contains a non-legal version of Windows using the SLIC activation tricks. This trick works by overwriting a memory area, which is why Windows considers it to be an OEM installation installed on a computer from the manufacturer. These activation applications often use GRUB4DOS to load the corresponding fake SLIC lines into memory;
- a one-time accident and it will be eliminated during the reinstallation of the system;
- chances are that the old Linux installation has left the bootloader, which seems to interfere with the system when you are trying to boot Windows.
Since you never unsubscribed in the comments about the full situation. Regarding the number of OSes on your PC and whether any manipulations with the systems have been done before. I give the answer only on the basis of the screenshots laid out by you in the question.
I recommend you the following steps:
- Check out the documentation for the Linux distribution you use or have used previously, as well as forums on this topic.
- In Windows, follow the instructions to restore the bootloader from the official Microsoft website.
- There is also an option, with a complete cleaning of the hard disk, the removal of all partitions and installation from scratch, but this is in case of emergency.
