From one article on the Internet: SessionFactory getCurrentSession() returns a session associated with the context. But in order for this to work, we need to configure it in the hibernate configuration file. Since this session object is associated with the hibernate context, there is no need to close it. The session object closes with the closing of SessionFactory.

It works for me without this configuration, in mvc-dispatcher-servlet.xml() I have the following tinctures:

After receiving the List<Courier> list don’t close anything. Will it close itself? There is one more thing with web.xml where I keep the session for 30 minutes, how does it affect the session in hibernate?
