Initially, I suppose this folder didn’t weigh so much, how did it fill up? I did not update, but only compiled test games on Android under Unity, using the "SDK"). In general, this "android studio" downloaded because of the need for the "SDK" to build the game on android. And now, plus to these 22GB, several GB can be added, because the new version of Unity requires new versions of the "SDK". Summing up, what to do: to completely demolish the whole thing with the android folder and download again what you need or update? And what was this folder filled with?

  • This is a folder created when installing an android studio, if that - Albert
  • Look, most likely the SDK is being downloaded there (+ some cache from the studio). The easiest option is to change the SDK's location in the settings (and move the directory itself) - Jarvis_J
  • Not playable. I have exactly the same folder and it does not weigh 22 gigabytes: p Did you use emulators? How many sdk versions are installed? - Enikeyschik 2:24 pm
  • I think that a lot of sdk versions have been installed and as a result everything is bloated) I agree with @Jarvis_J that you just need to transfer this directory and change its location. My folder weighs 1.6 GB and sdk weighs 8.6GB. Such numbers are sooo difficult to achieve - Andrew Goroshko 2:32 pm

Wang is not here, but what can be:

1) Virtual images for Android emulation

2) 3D Studio

3) MinGW

4) Python and other languages requiring compilers

5) IDE itself is not light (weighs about 6 gigameters)

6) Cache

7) Unity eats up to 50 gigs under the cache

8) Garbage
