Yesterday I was playing in Fallout 4, and a friend of the system man suddenly turned off and rebooted, but Windows could not boot. Today I reinstalled Windows 10, everything seems to be normal, there are no defects in the image, but after I installed the drivers on the video card, the same thing. The computer restarts and Windows cannot boot.
I could enter through the safe mode and my video card is displayed there:
Nvidia Geforce GTX 560Ti
I roll back the driver and the computer turns on again as it should, before the driver installed the ones that it installed before the breakdown.
What could be the reason, tell me please what to do?
- oneLoad the furmark and see whether it dies or not. If yes - the problem with the video and / or its cooling. - don Rumata
- don Rumata as he will check if the computer does not work when the drivers are installed. I would check on Win7 if there is a glitch on the video card, which means it's in it. If everything works there, it means win 10 is buggy or drivers for it. - coder675
- It is still possible the power supply unit stopped pulling in power. Just to check this you need a second power supply. I would have checked the power of the video card suddenly there it went. Especially if it is through the adapter included. - coder675 9:31 pm
- It's not about the power supply, I ring out and measured all the lines of additional power, all the rules are there - Denis
