When installing pyinstaller, it displays this error:

  • It seems that the reason is Cyrillic on the way, for example in the username. Try to put a python in the root, for example C:/python , I think it will pass. But the answer with reinstalling pip, of course, will be better :) - gil9red

Rollback the PIP version to 18.1

 pip install pip==18.1

Try to install pyinstaller again

 pip install pyinstaller

Update the PIP version to the latest

 python -m pip install –upgrade pip
