Yesterday I received a letter from Google saying that my application is blocked in some countries due to the fact that it contains content that is prohibited in these countries.

The policy issue: Your app includes the content.

What can I do now to restore my application? How can I determine which content is prohibited? The letter was written in support, but I doubt that they will answer something intelligible. The application is already in the market for 5 years and everything was fine with the content. Maybe someone has such a sad experience?

  • Sometimes Google's arbitrariness comes down to unfair / paid competition. If the application occupies a decent niche in some areas. Look for starters 'competitors' in this segment. - NewView
  • @NewView, but what will the competitor search give me? Although I know them in the face of all ... - dubok79
  • Understanding is possible if the regions where you are banned and the markets and the origin of competitors coincide - NewView
  • Google is now tightening the screws and checking the content of the applications (for example, we have completely removed one application after two years of publication). It is necessary to look, that for regions and that there can be forbidden. As an example: in China it is impossible to depict skeletons - applications with these images are also unacceptable content. Although I was originally sent a letter with a screen - what exactly and where we violated - Jarvis_J
  • @Jarvis_J, and your application after the removal was not restored? In case of deletion, what are the next steps? How to return the application? Here you wrote "We must look that for the regions and that there may be prohibited." - the region of Russia, the application concerns holidays and events in Russia and nowhere else. I can not imagine what could cause such a reaction. And where can I see it, about the ban then? - dubok79
