I recently started studying Bootstrap and decided to use the already available "startbootstrap-sb-admin-2-gh-pages" layout for more detailed study and faced with the inability to edit the Sass files there, even if they are not deleted, nothing changes and the styles are still used , but in theory the same should not be!?

  • Most likely the styles were skipped by the browser. Try to clear the cache and reload the page - Dmitry Kozlov
  • @DmitryKozlov, alas, did not help. And I don’t think it’s somehow related to the browser, even if the styles completely remove the styles, they will still be used as if they were all described in css / sb-admin-2.min.css - Stasia
  • you need to remove min and connect scss/bootstrap.scss since everything is tied up there on imports, mixins, etc. If that doesn't work either. Then it is better to collect your css file from scss using gulp or webpack - Dmitry Kozlov
  • @DmitryKozlov, that is, I need to copy the content from css / sb-admin-2.min.css and transfer it to scss / bootstrap.scss, if yes, then unfortunately it did not help. With this option, styles are not displayed on the page at all - Stasia
  • not. in your folder (with sources) scss is the start file bootstrap.scss, and .min.css is already a compiled file, you don’t need it at all - Dmitry Kozlov
