You need to export a single object without deleting other objects from the project.

When selecting a directory for export, select "Selection only" in the left pane.
The location of the button varies depending on the export script, and since you did not specify which format you are interested in, I gave as an example obj

- I have the whole thing differently displayed. I suppose because of the older version, or maybe this is another topic on the screen, but, most importantly, this method works, as well as the copying and pasting method suggested by the user "Gin Tasan".
