Innopolis University will hold Russia's first international design school for autonomous vehicles

The event is designed for bachelors, masters, graduate students and young researchers. The authors of the best applications will receive grants covering participation, food and accommodation. Registration is open until March 1.

The school will be held in a competitive format between the teams from April 6 to April 13. The participants will be divided into groups and will work on their own project in the field of unmanned vehicles under the guidance of experts from the Center for Technology Components of Robotics and Mechatronics of Innopolis University. At the end, the developers will present the practical results of the development, including how to commercialize them.

In addition to the competitive part, the school will host educational seminars and lectures devoted to unmanned vehicle systems and assistance to drivers, navigation, recognition of road space, control algorithms, passenger interaction with cars and vehicle behavior in various situations.

“The goal of the project school is to solve applied and scientific problems. Therefore, after completion, participants will be able to undergo an internship at the Laboratory of Autonomous Transport Systems and implement their developments in existing projects, ”said Alexander Klimchik, head of the Technology Center of Robotics and Mechatronics Components of the University Innopolis.

Participation in school is paid: 15,000 rubles for citizens of the Russian Federation and 200 euros for residents of other countries. The price includes food, accommodation and educational materials. The working language is English.
