There is an Excel file that stores a very important database.
And there is an employee who will replenish this database, but this employee should not have rights to copy, download a file or edit already filled data.
And all this should happen online, but in an Excel spreadsheet.
So that the owner of the database could at any time edit the data himself anywhere in the world.
And with the extra movements of the employee in the file, send SMS notifications to the owner’s number or email.
If any ready-made solutions for this?
Only Google Docs comes to mind, but there it is impossible to prevent the user with priority from editing, not to copy data.

Thanks for any info!

if there is read access, then there is copy access. For example, with video - at least you do something, you can always record video directly from the screen with any program, there are no program at hand - you can record it on a phone camera. Text is not a video; it’s much easier to steal. Therefore, if you are afraid for the data - do not give them to anyone, let the owner do everything himself. You can, of course, throw dust in the eyes of the customer, but if he finds out everything - you will answer. As an option - to come up with a technology that reads the signals from the brain and transmits the information there directly)) but also unreliable - BOPOH
  • You can make some form to fill in the data, and not show them to the employee (or show only those completed in the last session) - Batanichek
  • Give the employee a blank template in Excel to fill in the data, the filled files are periodically sent to the owner to be loaded into the database, or to the main Excel file, and the employee starts again from a blank page - Sergey S.
